Hai, shisei o tadashite.
Hai, migi sanchin dachi.

Hai, kamaete.

Migi no tekubi o motte.
Migi ude o agete.

Tekubi o mawashite.
Ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, shichi, hachi.

Hai, hantai.
Ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, shichi, hachi.

Hai, seiken o gutto nigitte.
Chikara o irete.

Hai, futte.

3. Translation

Fix posture.
Move into right sanchin stance.

Prepare.

Hold the wrist.
Raise the arm.

Rotate the wrist.
One to eight.

Reverse.
One to eight.

Clench the fist.
Apply tension.

Shake out.

Switch sides.

Ichi – Ni – San – Shi – Go – Roku – Shichi – Hachi


5. Short description

The practitioner stands in migi sanchin dachi, creating a stable base.

One hand stabilizes the opposite wrist while performing circular rotations:

  • eight repetitions each direction

Then the hand forms a seiken fist:

  • strong contraction
  • release by shaking

Repeated on both sides.


6. Purpose

The exercise aims to:

  • mobilize the wrist joint
  • strengthen the forearms
  • develop proper fist structure
  • improve stability in striking
  • connect lower body and upper body mechanics
