Description¶
The practitioner sits with one leg extended and lifts the other leg with the hands.
The leg is placed over the shoulder and behind the neck, or as far as flexibility allows.
The position is held while the upper body leans slightly forward.
Small controlled pulses deepen the stretch.
This is the mirrored execution of the previous exercise.
Purpose¶
- develop extreme hip mobility
- stretch glutes and hamstrings
- improve high leg lifting ability
- increase flexibility in hips and lower back
