The movement is performed with the toes of the front foot and alternates between two positions:

  1. the big toe is lifted while the other toes are pressed into the floor
  2. the four smaller toes are lifted while the big toe remains in contact with the floor

The movement is performed in a controlled manner in time with the count, without any other movement in the upper body.

  • strengthen the foot
  • improve balance
  • prepare for stances and movement

Technical key points

  • work with the toes of the front foot
  • keep the heel in contact with the floor
  • stable upper body
  • even rhythm
