Execution¶
The block travels from the outside inward toward the centerline in order to redirect an attack toward the middle section. The movement should be clear, but not exaggerated.

- arm circle too large
- late coverage of the centerline
- loose blocking structure
- excessive opening of the body

To train soto uke as a basic blocking form against the middle section.
