Execution¶

- the strike must be directed

- arms too straight
- movement too wide
- hand rolling over
- shoulders lifting
Purpose¶
To train the lateral uraken form and quick return between sides.

Idō Geiko: Primarily as a static basic form.
Kata: The alternating lateral hand form appears in different contexts.
Kumite: Trains switching between side targets.
